Scientific exchanges in medical education

Introduction: The internationalization of education has arrived as a process of socialization, dissemination and construction of knowledge for inter- and trans-disciplinary transfer. This article evaluates the experiences of four professionals from Spain and Cuba during scientific exchange.
Objective: To reveal the interrelation between life and work associated with biomedical sciences, from testimonies, in order to enhance the formative development of health professionals.
Methods: Under the dialectical materialist approach, the documentary analysis, the experiential analysis, the testimony and the coincidence matrix were used to narrate and value the experiences of the participants in this scientific exchange.
Conclusions: The matrix study of the coincidences in the opinions of the participants of the scientific exchange expresses the interrelation between life and work, associated with biomedical sciences, in the training and development of health professionals.
