Abstract
This bibliographic review examines the environmental thinking of two essential figures in Cuban history, José Martí and Fidel Castro, whose ethical, educational, and political legacy has shaped the defense and conservation of the environment in Cuba. Their humanistic and revolutionary visions that integrate social justice with nature care are analyzed, emphasizing environmental education as a key tool for sustainability. The relevance and enduring impact of their ideas are highlighted in the face of current challenges such as climate change and the global ecological crisis.
